Pradeep Kumar, the founder of Learning by Locals, has a deeply personal connection to his mission. Having faced challenges in accessing quality education himself, particularly in English proficiency, he embarked on a journey of self-improvement. After graduating from a government school, he sought assistance from the NGO Manzil, where he learned English and subsequently found employment in the tourism industry.

I have my keen interest in creating spaces to talk about normative and social behaviour change campaigns and action and have done that for the last ten years in different spaces including colleges, communities and informal spaces which adolescent and young people occupy.

At TYPF, she coordinates youth-led evidence generation and advocacy initiatives across Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, while also engaging with government stakeholders to enhance capacity and perspectives on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR).
