Dr. Nandita Shah, a distinguished feminist activist and researcher, serves as the co-director of Akshara Centre, a Mumbai-based nonprofit organisation dedicated to women's rights. With a focus on empowering women to articulate, demand, and access their rights, Akshara Centre under Dr. Shah's leadership emphasises women's leadership and addresses issues of gender and social justice. Notably, she advocates for the engagement of men in this struggle, recognizing their role as part of the solution.
Shirisha Yeotikar has done her Masters in Social work specializing in Medical and Psychiatric Social work from Pune. She has an experience of around 12 years working in the field of Gender, CSR and Mental Health.
She has worked in Psychiatric hospitals, half way homes, Rehabilitation centres, NGOs and CSR. She is a certified trainer and conducts sessions on POSH, Gender Sensitization and Diversity and Inclusion.
