About Us: 

Yeh Ek Soch (YES) Foundation, established in 2012; has been relentlessly working towards social inclusion and holistic development of adolescents, young people and marginalized sections of the society.

YES Foundation is a registered non-government and non-profit civil society organization for the purpose of wellbeing of all sections of the society and advancement of any philanthropic objectives for the benefit of poor & general public in accordance with the laws of the state of Uttar Pradesh.

Yeh Ek Soch Foundation works with children, adolescents and youth coming from vulnerable communities having low socio-economic conditions; working under unorganized sector where most of the people are daily wage earners, also they have been socially excluded on the bases of caste, class, status and gender and gender based violence seen in families.

  1. Empowerment: Capacity building of youth and adolescents, Social Entrepreneurship & volunteerism, Awareness on gender and Street Sexual Harassment, promoting SDGs.
  2. Formal and Non- Formal Education: Life skill, basic and environmental education, constitutional literacy.
  3. Health: SRHR, MHM, WASH, ECM, mental health, persons with disabilities.

Objective of the Organization:

To create a road-map and build capacity for adolescents & young people to ensure that they achieve their full potential and bring positive social change towards a more inclusive and sustainable society.

  1. Provide: Knowledge Hub of shared resources, tools, and opportunities.
  2. Connect: Platforms, where they are able to polish their professional as well as life skills to be able to contribute to the society.
  3. Showcase: Innovative ideas into social context & hope to strengthen them for collective action.

In the process of Gender equity and consideration YES focuses on girls and women as primary beneficiaries, creating experiences for them that help them in transforming gendered social norms and power dynamics, and bringing equality and sense of freedom.
