Our SaathNirbhar Story: 
Udhhar's CEO Vaibhav Moon primarily serves the farmer's community in Nagpur's Yavatmal also known as the suicide capital of India. Due to his constant efforts, the suicide rate has gone down. When the utmost need for relief activities arose during the Covid-19 lockdown, Vaibhav went beyond the limits of his duty to ensure Nagpur's migrant laborers and students' safe return to their homes. Community kitchens were set up to feed them ailing pregnant laborers were taken to the govt. hospital for delivery and medical assistance was given to the elderly and sick. Vaibhav became a team member of a local collective comprising of police personnel and NGOs under the leadership of Nagpur Police commissioner Mr. Nilesh Bharne to promptly respond to the needs of the locals. commercial sex workers, transgender community, and tribals were helped with groceries, ration, and relief kits as they struggled for a meal. The team felt overwhelmed by the calls for help flooding in. 50 volunteers from the rag pickers community, business, and health sector collectively served around 45000 people. When the lockdown was eased, the need for rehabilitation arose. Various family members of the deceased were given skill training like driving, mobile repairing, tailoring classes, etc to support them resume their livelihood. Vaibhav humbly expressed gratitude to the whole team specially Mr. Mukesh Jotwani, Mr. Amit Advani, Ms. Aradhna Advani, Mr. Roshan Ingle, and Meghraj sonawne for serving the needy unconditionally. Certainly, We could come out of the disaster because of people like Vaibhav.
