About Us:
Protsahan India Foundation (www.protsahan.co.in) works critically on child protection (from a healing and psychosocial lens) and encourages young girls from difficult backgrounds of violence & abuse to heal and reach their full potential with access to education, healthcare and gender justice. Protsahan’s vision is that all vulnerable children grow up with absolute freedom from all forms of violence and abuse; and those who experience abuse, benefit from greater access to holistic support, care and healing. The H.E.A.R.T. Model is the foundation of Protsahan’s Program for Healing the Impacts of Adverse Childhood Experiences and Trauma in children. The H.E.A.R.T. Model is a unique arts & technology based framework pioneered by Protsahan, to break the intergenerational cycle of childhood abuse and poverty with Holistic Healing (of Abuse & Trauma), Education, Art interventions for Life Skills training, Recovery, and Technology. Protsahan's work on healing and trauma informed compassionate care models has been recognised by The World Bank, Cambridge Institute of Sustainable Leadership, BBC, HundrED (Helsinki) and Harvard University.
