Mudita Jagota

22 year old Mudita Jagota is currently pursuing Masters in Applied Psychology from Jamia Millia Islamia university, New Delhi. She is also an alumna of Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Delhi University. 

Mudita has a genetic disorder called Spinal Muscular Atrophy (Type 2) which restricts her overall body movement, due to which she is a wheelchair user. Being a person with disability herself, she is passionate about Disability Activism and Mental Health Awareness. She advocates for the rights of Persons with Disability on social media extensively and has been invited on panels of renowned organisations such as Mental Health Foundation of India and Youth for Mental Health, among others, to talk about Disability and Mental Health. 

She aspires to become a Rehabilitation Counselor in the future, and thus, dedicate her career to serving persons with disability.
