Zulfiquar Haider
Zulfiquar holds a prominent position as the Chief Strategy and Program Officer at the Azim Premji Philanthropic Initiatives, where he plays a pivotal role in shaping the organisation's strategic direction and overseeing its various programs. With a wealth of experience spanning across both the public and non-profit sectors, he has demonstrated his expertise in driving impactful initiatives aimed at addressing complex socio-economic challenges.
Previously, Zulfiquar served as the CEO of the Bharat Rural Livelihoods Foundation and held key consulting roles with esteemed organisations such as SDC, DFID, UN, and the Government of India. His diverse professional background includes notable positions such as National Programme Coordinator at the UN, Regional Programme Manager at the Aga Khan Foundation, consultant at the World Bank, and Project Director with the Government of Madhya Pradesh.
Having pursued a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the Harvard Kennedy School, Zulfiquar brings a robust academic foundation to his work, complementing his extensive practical experience. Beyond his professional achievements, he is known for his collaborative approach and commitment to driving positive change, making him a respected figure in the philanthropic and development sectors.
