Satyendra Kumar
Satyendra Kumar, as the Co-founder and Strategic Consultant of CSEI and National Convenor of NYEF, plays a pivotal role in advancing equity and social inclusion for marginalised communities, particularly Dalit, Tribal, Muslim, and Nomadic Tribes children and young people. Through his leadership, CSEI focuses on promoting their social, economic, and cultural rights, thereby deepening democracy and fostering social inclusion. Under his guidance, the National Youth Equity Forum (NYEF) has emerged as a national collective dedicated to building socially inclusive societies and nurturing social inclusion champions within communities.
With a robust academic background from Jawaharlal Nehru University and Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Satyendra brings over 12 years of extensive experience in working with Dalit human rights, particularly focusing on the empowerment of young people and children in India and abroad. His dedication to social justice and equity is further exemplified by his recognition as an Acumen fellow for 2019. Satyendra's expertise lies in leveraging his vast network and experience to advocate for the rights of marginalised communities and amplify their voices on national and international platforms.
