Meenu Venkateswaran
Meenu Venkateswaran, an esteemed alumnus of Delhi School of Economics and IIM Bangalore, boasts over 30 years of rich experience spanning both corporate and social sectors. As a founder member and board member of Pravah and Community—The Youth Collective, Meenu has played a pivotal role in shaping the landscape of youth development in India. Additionally, she serves as a Trustee of Spanda, a performing arts Trust established by Ms. Leela Samson.
In 2018, Meenu co-founded Indicult, a social enterprise dedicated to promoting Indian crafts and slow fashion, showcasing her commitment to preserving indigenous art forms and supporting artisans. Her co-authorship of 'Ocean In A Drop – Inside Out Youth Leadership' (Sage 2013) reflects her dedication to nurturing the next generation of leaders.
With a multifaceted career at Pravah since 2003, Meenu has held various leadership positions, including head of Teacher Training and CEO. Currently, she continues to support the organisation's leadership team in a part-time capacity. As an independent consultant, Meenu has collaborated with numerous national and international organisations, offering her expertise to initiatives focused on diverse areas such as health, education, and social development. Her invaluable contributions to both the corporate and social sectors exemplify her unwavering commitment to driving positive change and empowering communities.
