Indian School of Democracy

ISD is a non-partisan organization that conducts short term and long term programs for young people who want to work in politics, across the geographical, political and ideological spectrum. The focus is on cultivating i) hard skills for public service ii) spaces for inner work and moral leadership iii) network of public leaders.

We started in 2018, and aim that our participants will go on to become politicians at village, district, city level to begin with, to make democracy come alive for disadvantaged Indians.Our programs are Democracy Express (10 days), She Represents. ( 7 days) and The Good Politician ( 9 months executive program) with all alumni getting 5-10 years of post program support. We also do programs with grassroots organizations and political parties.
