Mahamaya Navlakha
Mahamaya Navlakha is a social impact professional with over 15 years of experience building platforms, programmes, and narratives that drive dialogue and action. Their journey began with Christian Children’s Fund – India, where they supported child development programmes across six states, and grew through diverse roles that combined creativity, strategy, and facilitation.
At Going to School, they led the Be! an Entrepreneur project, writing books, films, and radio scripts to spark entrepreneurial imagination among children. With ComMutiny Media Network, they collaborated with filmmakers and youth to design campaigns and media that amplified young voices. At the South Asian Children’s Cinema Forum, they curated films and networks that celebrated stories for and about children.
Most recently, as Co-Founder of Arthan (2017–2024),Mahamaya led its thought leadership vertical, creating spaces through forums and conferences for meaningful dialogue across the social sector, while also contributing to organisational strategy, fundraising, and capacity-building.
They hold an MA in Social Development from the University of Sussex and an Executive Education credential from Harvard Business School. Guided by values of empathy, equity, and collaboration, [Name] deeply believes in the power of storytelling and collective action to create social change.
