Ashok Krishnan

With a background in Information Technology, Ashok started his professional journey as a Network Security Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services from 2015 to 2018. However, his inclination towards social change surfaced during his college years when he participated in the Community Connect Fellowship with the Blue Ribbon Movement in 2013, marking the inception of his volunteerism. Since then, he has remained actively engaged with the organisation, leveraging his skills and passion for community development.
Transitioning from the corporate realm to the social sector, he took over the role of Program Lead for the Gender Lab Boys Program at the Gender Lab from 2018 to 2020. In this capacity, he demonstrated his adaptability and commitment to fostering positive change, and took initiatives aimed at promoting gender equity and empowerment among young boys. Despite the shift in career paths, his inherent enthusiasm and love for humour have remained constant, infusing warmth and levity into his interactions and endeavours.

A true go-getter at heart, Ashok approaches his work with dedication and a contagious sense of optimism, always ready with a witty remark or a humorous anecdote to lighten the mood.
