Sukannyaa Lahon
Sukannyaa Lahon is currently working at Pravah in the capacity of a Programme Coordinator of the Youth Intervention. She joined Pravah in 2017 after completing her masters in Sociology and Social Anthropology from Tata Institute of Social Sciences and since being part of Pravah she has been creating learning and leadership journeys with and for young people such that they are able to take charge of the world within and around them. She has been part of designing and facilitating leadership workshops, rural and urban internship programmes, 8 month long fellowship programme and institutional partnerships. She is currently also leading the self-development workshops with the students of Bachelors of Elementary Education at Miranda House College and Jesus and Mary College of Delhi University. Working with young people from across boundaries of caste, class, religion, gender, sexual identity, etc has helped her build a more nuanced understanding of the society and has been a source of immense social hope and strength to keep advocating for social justice.
