His journey has been dedicated to advocating for the rights of the poor and holding the state accountable while actively engaging in rural management and economic empowerment initiatives. As a first-generation farmer, Sudarshan has embraced a learn-by-doing approach, continually seeking innovative solutions to address the challenges faced by rural communities.

As the Founder of Udayan Centre for Collaborative Learning, a small NGO based in Seoni District, Madhya Pradesh, Sudarshan is deeply committed to working with rural marginal communities, particularly farmers. His primary passion lies in organising these communities, implementing sustainable livelihood interventions, and integrating technology to enhance their economic prospects. Sudarshan's approach is characterised by a participatory ethos, ensuring that community voices are heard and valued in every aspect of his work.
