Shweta Aggarwal

Having undergone the challenging experience of transitioning between schools due to a financial crisis, Shweta's life was profoundly shaped by this event. Moving on from her role as a healthcare architect in the corporate sector, she felt a deep calling to contribute to the education sector. Her passion was to ensure access to quality education for all children.
Driven by this purpose, Shweta founded Unmukt in 2017, dedicated to creating joyful and sustainable learning communities through integrated and child-led education. Advocating for children's freedom to choose and co-create their learning experiences, Unmukt emphasizes interest-driven learning over compulsion. With plans to expand into creating safe learning spaces in government schools of Odisha, Shweta envisions transforming the lives of children, with her commitment to equitable education access for all.
