Ritesh Gohiya
Ritesh, a dedicated MSW graduate with over 10 years of experience in the field of social work, focuses on serving tribal and underprivileged communities, as well as children and youth. Alongside his social work endeavours, he showcases his passion for music as a music director and sound engineer. Ritesh actively engages with youth on topics related to the constitution, citizenship, and overall personal development, aiming to empower them and foster a sense of civic responsibility.
Currently serving as the director of SHEDO, Ritesh has made significant contributions to advancing child rights across various platforms. His active involvement in initiatives such as the MP Youth Collective and the district child protection committee demonstrates his commitment to advocating for marginalised groups. Ritesh plays a pivotal role in networking, program design, and implementation for SHEDO, utilising his expertise to create impactful interventions and initiatives.
Recognized for his dedication and leadership in youth development, Ritesh has been honoured as a Changeloom fellow with Pravah and ComMutiny, as well as a Constitution fellow with PHIA and APPI. Through his multifaceted approach to social work and music, Ritesh continues to make meaningful contributions to the betterment of society, particularly for marginalised communities and the youth.
