About their project: :
EVD project initiative focuses on promoting organic farming practices that prioritise ecological balance, sustainability, and soil health. The aim is to cultivate a thriving agricultural environment that benefits both the community and the planet. It aims to promote organic farming through a series of targeted activities, including training programs that educate farmers on sustainable practices, the distribution of organic seeds and fertilisers, and the establishment of demonstration farms for hands-on learning. Additionally, the project will organise workshops on biogas production and set up biogas plants as demonstration units to showcase their benefits. Community awareness programs will further inform locals about the advantages of organic farming, while exposure visits to successful organic farms will inspire and motivate farmers. Collectively, these initiatives are designed to enhance farmers' knowledge, skills, and resources, facilitating the widespread adoption of organic farming practices in the region.
