Experienced Child Rights and Protection Specialist with a demonstrated history of working in the non-profit organization management industry. Skilled in Nonprofit Organizations, Disaster Management and Risk Reduction, Program Management , Humanitarian Assistance and conflict management, and Young People participation in decision making process. He was instrumental in setting up child protection mechanism in Odisha state, and conceptualised many pathbreaking social innovation program with both field demaotraion and high level policy advocacy work. Some of them are setting up of center for child rights in National Law university in Odisha. Alternative Care arrangements on Odisha and Assam, system based award wining program called “PAREE” in collaboration with Odisha Police on raising awareness on Child sexual abuse. He had conceptualised India’s first Child Friendly Constituency Model iniatiative with Young Legislator of Odisha Legislative Assembly Strong understanding on child rights/human rights programming; experience in creating community based development and management model, and protective services professional with a Master in Bussiness Administration focused in Human Resource and Organization Development from Regional College of Management. Mr. Nanda holds Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management from Xavier Institute of Management. Currently, continuing PhD on Juvenile Justice in National Law University, Odisha. Currently based in Guwahati and work with Unicef as child protection specialist covering Assam and NE states
