Jessica Mayberry

Jessica Mayberry, the founder and executive director of Video Volunteers, has a remarkable background in media and social entrepreneurship. With extensive experience in TV news at prestigious networks like Court TV, Fox News Channel, and CNN, Jessica transitioned to empowering rural Indian women through filmmaking after a transformative fellowship with the American India Foundation.

Recognized as a TED Fellow and a Fellow of Echoing Green, Jessica's dedication to high-impact solutions in social entrepreneurship has garnered international acclaim. Notably, she was honoured as an Architect of the Future by the Waldzell Institute of Austria and as an Outstanding Young Person by the Junior Chamber International Osaka.

Despite her illustrious career, Jessica remains grounded in her commitment to social justice. Shortlisted for the Grinnell College Young Innovator for Social Justice Prize in 2011, her contributions have transcended borders, influencing global initiatives such as Free the Children and Counterpart International.
