Deepjyoti Sonu Brahma
Deep Jyoti Sonu Brahma emerges as a seasoned professional dedicated to reshaping youth attitudes toward agriculture by integrating hands-on farming experiences into the education system. With over two decades of experience in education and youth development, Deep has played instrumental roles in envisioning, designing, and implementing various educational initiatives. His expertise spans school development, community capacity building, and youth interventions, garnered through leadership positions at organisations like Pravah and The American India Foundation.
Deep holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Delhi University and a Masters in Elementary Education from TISS, Mumbai, along with being UGC-NET qualified and a certified master trainer on design and facilitation. As the co-founder and Director of Farm2Food Foundation, he pioneers efforts to bridge the gap between youth and agriculture. Deep's commitment to community-driven change is evident through his roles as founder Convenor of Axom State Collective, seed member of Board of Commutiny – The Youth Collective, and member of Vartaleap and Catalyst2030. Furthermore, his recognition as an Ashoka Fellow in 2015 underscores his impactful contributions to society.
Beyond his professional endeavours, Deep finds solace in the practice of Vipassana and indulges his passion for exploration through avid travelling.
