NAME OF THE JAGRIK:  Niharika Priyam Nath and Gayatri Nath

Class : VII , Sipajhar B.J Balika High School

Participant : 1st Raiz Mel

Task: Community, ( Fundamental  Rights,No 5) Silver Task

Activities :  Niharika Priyam Nath and Gayatri Nath are the student of Sipajhar B.J Balika High School  and their school had RTE implemented in 2009. They filed an application to district Inspector of schools incorporating issues which were not implemented as per law.  There are as follows:

  1. Lack of quality infrastructure.
  2. The number of teachers is mismatched in proportion to the student.
  3. Lack of quality classroom.
  4. Lack of quality desk-benches, electricity, blackboards learning materials.
  5. There is no provision of pure drinking water.

Challenges : There is some difficulty in carrying out the work of the JAGRIK in the midst of a lot of homeworks.

FEED BACK : They are happy to work as a jagrik and also their parents are happy to see their task oriented activities. They were searching to know about the details of RTE and learn more about relevant to address it.
