Jagrik story-2(from GBSS's first Cohort Sapno Ki Udan(Jamghat-1.Date-22/12/2019)) Organisation-Prantakatha Jagrik names: Raj Harijan and Sourja Ghosh(Pair-3) Task-Fundamental Duty(Community task Silver or.card-2) They were asked to organise a discussion with their friends on the use of slangs for women and other communities.They were also asked to inspire their classmates and other friends to abstain from using these words. Experience-Raj and Sourjo organized a discussion with their friends on the uses of slangs aimed specially at women and transgender community.They discussed not only with their school friends but also with their friends from their neighbourhood.They kept the discussion going on for 7 days in a row for about an hour daily. Challenge-During the discussion session they had to hear and bear quite a few slangs .It was really challenging for them to convince the fact that using such words are not good and they must abstain from using these disrespectful words to those who uses slangs. Learning-At the end of the task they along with their friends learnt to respect women,TG community and even eachother.Be it a girl or a boy or a third gender or even people from other religions they realized that they must respect all despite their caste,colour and creed.
