Task:(FR5CG1)- With help from your Jagrik mentor, identify 1 out of school child in your community and inspire their parents to admit him/her in school under the Right To Education (RTE) Act so that he/she gets free education.

Experiences: The Jagrik pair conducts the task in the community and found 1 out of school child and interact with the parents and ask why the child is not going to school. The parents reply that the child is not interest to go to school. Listening to these the Jagrik pair advice and requested the parents to admit the child in a school. They had good learning experiences as they had never advice any one regarding this and they also felt very worthy.

Learning: By doing this task they were able to identify the child in their community not going to school. As earlier they never notice nor bother about the child who is not enrolling in the school. Through this task they were able to understand the value of RTE act that every child between the ages of 6 to 14 years has free and compulsory education.

Celebration: While carrying this task the Jagrik pair was able to understand the importance of education. The parents were also came to know about the value of education and also aware about RTE which they were not aware about it. They were also able to find out the reason of the child not going to school. They enjoyed doing the task and want to do such task again.

Challenges: It was difficult to identify the out of school child in the community. They need to walk far from their home to find out the child. For them it was little tough as they have never tried this type of task before.
