Eva Wallensteiner

About Me: 

Eva Wallensteiner is a seasoned theatre anthropologist with a specialisation in the popular performing arts of India and extensive experience as a dramatic advisor. Since 1987, she has made regular visits to India for her studies and research on the influence and significance of performing arts. Additionally, Eva has served as a project coordinator in the social field, leveraging her expertise to contribute to various initiatives aimed at social development.

With a rich background in academia and theatre, Eva has been actively involved in teaching at universities and participating in theatre projects across Austria, France, Japan, and India. Her diverse experiences have equipped her with a deep understanding of different cultural contexts and theatrical traditions, enabling her to bring a unique perspective to her work as a project coordinator and advisor.

Since 2004, Eva has served as a project coordinator for DKA Austria, where she has played a pivotal role in managing and overseeing projects aimed at promoting social development and cultural exchange. Her dedication to bridging cultural gaps and fostering understanding through the arts has made her a valuable asset in the field of theatre anthropology and social project coordination.
