Society For Affected Village and Environmental Development(SAVED) was established in the year 1998. The organization registered under Society Registration Act XXI of 1860. The main objective of the organization is to work for the socio economic development of the marginalized community of the society. With this objective,SAVED has been implementing many programs and activities since its establishment.

              In the year 2008 SAVED established one Family Counseling Centre under the sponsorship of Central Social Welfare Board,New Delhi. Under this program SAVED has settled many cases of domestic violence,dowry demands,drug abuse,marital maladjustment,property disputes,sexual harassment etc. This is a continuous program of SAVED.

           From the year of 2017 SAVED has been working for adolescent empowerment under the sponsorship of UNICEF and Sivasagar District Administration. Under this program SAVED formed 350 no's of adolescent groups,120 no's of child protection committees,100 no's of parents groups in 160 no's of villages and in municipality area of Sivasagar. Now around 3000 no's of adolescent and adult volunteers are working with SAVED to address the child protection issues and trying to create enmpowering spaces for adolescents.
