NERSWN (North East Research & Social Work Networking ) is non-government organization registered under the society registration Act 1860. The organization was started bt BRANSTHU, a group of friends deeply committed for social cause .The NERSWN since its inception on 23rd December 2004 has been working with range of development issues of hinterlands focusing on people at margin.

                          Being in a region devastated by violence and conflict,political instability & unrest,weak governance ,it works with rural and urban poor revolving around the issues of sustainable development with justice and participation as core principle .The works of NERSWN is funded by funding agencies and individual donors .
